“There is no greater joy than living the life you were meant to live.” - Edmund C. Blake

In early 2011, I realized I needed a change. Dissatisfaction with the corporate treadmill and bureaucracy got me thinking. Was it possible to indulge your interests and passions, become the CEO of yourself and create the life you want? I would soon see, as with eight weeks’ notice I leapt into my “Six Months Off” to do just that. Part of my journey involved spraying sweaty shoes at a local spinning studio for $15 an hour simply because it made me happy (okay, the sweaty spinning shoes didn’t but the free classes sure did!). But the majority was spent discovering that when you open yourself up to anything, anything is possible.

    -Mandy-
I have been a massage therapist for 13 years and although I still love it; my body hates me &
I’ve decided to leave the security of my job to follow my passion of working as a spa consultant. I had a business coach who was not a good fit for me. I then revisited the “Ladies who Launch” site & am so excited to find workshops that I can take to guide me on my adventure.
The best part, though, was finding your “six months off” blog because that is exactly my plan!
I have taken a distribution from my IRA so I can leave my job for 6 months to start a new life & am looking forward to reading everything you have to offer.
Thanks in advance for all of your help…

  2. You are my hero! I was sitting having my morning twelve cups of coffee lamenting how to proceed after being burned by my web guy and then you posted about Thinkso. Just contacted them and lets see what happens.

    Have a great day!
